Undoubtedly, the Intuit Pro Series was chosen not based on price but on the “daughter’s friends” newness to the industry. She will no doubt need a lot more help than people who are more mature and who have have been trained through life experience on logic. So the Pro Series is no doubt the best choice there. In addition, the Intuit Online Tax Preparation courses are excellent and well worth the price.

TaxAct also offers a Professional Income Tax Software that’s easy to use and much less expensive than the Intuit Pro Series.
As far as promotion throughout the year for your Tax Business, this is easy and mostly from referrals. Once people start talking about how much you saved them at tax time, it should be a shoe in. Also, like Pete’s daughter did, make sure you offer free tax advice when people ask. Make yourself open to their questions.
