It’s perfectly normal to feel anxious and upset if you’ve lost your job. However, it is what you do with those feelings that can either send you into a whirlwind of depression or open your eyes to the endless opportunities that await you.

Think back to the day that you felt secure in your job. You may not have loved the hours you worked or the workload that was expected of you. 5. Let your family know you are going to begin a transition from your current career to a higher paying career. Let them know that you will want their help and input and also let them know the benefits of your family earning more money and that you will eventually be working from home full-time. This should excite them into helping you.

Knowing your options and working through self-imposed limitations are as important as having realistic expectations in your new career. Nothing can hurt your business as much as if your goals are unrealistic.
