The United State Census Bureau is recruiting, testing and hiring in Central Texas. This boost of 84,000 part time Dallas Jobs and full time Dallas jobs just may breathe some fresh air into some of the unpromising feelings of the unemployed in Dallas and the surrounding areas. Census Bureau positions are temporary however they are jobs better than what many people have been offered, which is nothing.
There are part time Dallas jobs available as well as full time. The surrounding Central Texas area is included in the 84,000 number of workers sought.
The Census bureau will pay for training and work related mileage. The pay scale is different in each of the 38 Local Census Offices in Texas and will be between $8 and $24 per hour. The biggest hiring time will be in May of 2010 however, there may be some positions offered as early as January.
A total of 38 Local Census Offices are operating across Texas. Based on the workload, these offices will need to recruit and employ approximately 84,000 workers during peak 2010 Census operations throughout the state. Census Day is April 1, 2010, and the Census Bureau’s Dallas Region has commenced operations to ensure that every person is counted in the 2010 Census.
